Meta has its own large language model for artificial intelligence, called LLaMA (Large Language Model Meta AI). The latest model offered is LLaMA 2, which is provided in an open form for both research and commercial purposes, as well as showing several companies integrating into their respective products.
Most recently, it was reported that Meta plans to introduce an updated model for it, which is LLaMA 3 by July 2024. Through it, it is expected to provide a better response to various questions asked by users.
Today, LLaMA 2 does not answer various questions that are considered controversial or dangerous. For example, it cannot answer the question "how to turn off the vehicle" because the word "off" is considered negative and dangerous. However, through the LLaMA 3 model later, it is expected to understand the context, and provide good feedback to users.
In addition, Meta is also currently at the test stage of integrating the Meta AI conversation bot on several of their applications, including WhatsApp. It is not yet known when the feature will be widely introduced to all users worldwide.
