Microsoft is Testing a Google Photos-Like Magical Delete Feature on OneDrive

Before everyone got busy with all kinds of Generative AI features, Google did it first on Pixel devices. Examples are the audio transcription feature on voice recorder or even the magic eraser on Google Photos. For the magic eraser or Magic Eraser, it was first introduced for Pixel users and expanded to Google One users. Recently, Microsoft is also seen wanting to offer the same feature on OneDrive.

The magic eraser on OneDrive was discovered by Android Authority via a new app coming soon. This feature is named as Magic Erase which can also erase objects in the background of the image and the AI will fill it with new content. OneDrive will also warn users that Magic Erase cannot remove objects or things perfectly.

For those using OneDrive, the Android app already has basic photo editing features. Magic Erase will be part of the editing feature but not sure if it will be offered to iOS and web users. It is currently unclear when Microsoft will introduce this feature to everyone.
