MSI Malaysia has today launched several new gaming monitors together with Sun Cycle as their authorized distributor. There are five monitors launched and each has a graphene cooling system. Additionally, each monitor comes with MSI Gaming Intelligence AI for features such as Smart Crosshair, Night Vision AI, Optix Scope and more.
This monitor is the first from MSI to use a 49-inch size with a 32:9 aspect ratio because it is a curved monitor at 1800R. This monitor also uses the highest resolution which is DQHD 5120×1440, supports a refresh rate of 144Hz, receives VESA recognition for HDR400 and also CleanMR 13000. Since this is a gaming monitor, the display supports a time interval as low as 0.03ms GTG.
For connectivity, the MPG 491CQP QD-OLED is equipped with 1x DP 1.4a, 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x USB-C DP + PD 90W, 2x USB-A 2.0 (KVM), 1x USB-B and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. This monitor also uses feet that can be adjusted in height from 0-100 mm, the angle of view can be changed from -5 degrees to 20 degrees and the monitor can be rotated from -30 degrees to 30 degrees.
This is another curved QD-OLED screen monitor as well with a curvature rate of 1800R. This time the screen size is 34-inches with a resolution of UWQHD 3440 x 1440. It also supports a refresh rate of 175Hz with a 0.03ms GTG time interval, receiving the same VESA recognition as the model above which is HDR400 and CleanMR 13000. The monitor legs are also approximately the same. For connectivity MAG 341CQP QD-OLED includes 1x DP 1.4a, 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x USB-C DP + PD 15W, 2x USB-A 2.0 (KVM), 1x USB-B and 1x 3.5mm audio jack.
These two monitors are the same with the most significant differences being the screen size, resolution, refresh rate and the feet used. The first model MAG 321UPX comes with a 31.5-inch QD-OLED screen with a UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a refresh rate of 240Hz 0.03ms GTG and is also recognized with VESA HDR400. The MAG 271UPX is a smaller version with a 27-inch screen size with WQHD 2560 x 1440 resolution. Most of the features are the same as the 31.5-inch model but the refresh rate of this monitor can reach up to 360Hz. The leg support only has an additional pivot -90 degrees to 90 degrees. Others are the same including the connections which are 1x DP 1.4a, 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x USB-C DP + PD 15W and 1x 3.5mm audio jack.
An affordable monitor model also rides on MSI's other QD-OLED monitor launch. The MAG274QRF QD E2 is a monitor with a 27-inch IPS screen with a resolution of WQHD 2560 x 1444 with a display ratio of 16:9. It supports 180Hz refresh rate with 1ms GTG lapse rate. Also recognized with VESA HDR400 and supports the same connection as MAG 271UPX, only USB-C on this monitor supports PD 65W. The feet of this monitor can be adjusted in height from 0-90 mm, the angle of view can be changed from -5 degrees to 20 degrees, the monitor can be turned from -45 degrees to 45 degrees and can pivot 0 degrees to 130 degrees.
All MSI monitors launched today are also equipped with OLED Care 2.0, which is a screen protection system to prevent burn-in problems. MSI promises that users will be able to experience true black for their QD-OLED panels guaranteed to be of high quality. The fan-free cooling system on each monitor uses a graphene layer to ensure a longer monitor lifespan.
