The CEO of NVIDIA, Jensen Huang is now targeting that artificial intelligence will be able to overcome and pass the level of human testing or think like a human in the next five years.
The NVIDIA CEO said this when asked about how long it will take for artificial intelligence to think like a human. Today, this level is known as AGI or Artificial General Intelligence. However, it is also emphasized that the definition of AGI is still not very clear for now.
If according to the current definition to pass the level of thinking like a human, then it may be achieved in about another 5 years. However, there are scientists who still disagree with the definition provided - as it is still difficult to explain how the human mind operates.
Today, artificial intelligence is ready to pass a number of tests and examinations, including involving legislation. However, it still has problems to pass medical tests and some others.
