One Step Says The Leaked Data Is Not From Their Database

Hacker group R00tk1t claims they managed to hack Selangkah and managed to steal the application database developed during the pandemic. Selangkah Ventures has issued an official statement denying that the data is from their database.

R00tk1t threatens to sell this stolen data to interested parties. Until now, the ministry that was allegedly hacked as well as Cyber Security Malaysia still refused to issue an official statement regarding some of R00tk1t's allegations. Only PADU and now Selangkah released a brief statement denying the stolen data was from them.

Among R00tk1t's claims is that they have successfully stolen 27TB of LPPKN data which was sold for around $150,000. More troubling they also claim to have people in the organization who help them do hacking activities.
