OpenAI Will Share Revenue With Several Developers Developing GPTs

OpenAI, the firm behind a number of artificial intelligence-based services, including ChatGPT and Dall-E, has now announced they will begin an experiment to share revenue with several developers who develop their own GPT.

For those who don't know, OpenAI has previously introduced a feature called GPTs, allowing you to develop your own chatbot powered by ChatGPT technology, but with a specific purpose. For example GPTs to teach mathematics, GPTs to know the rules of a game, and so on.

The generated GPTs can be offered through the GPT Store. However, to use it, other users need to have access to the paid version of ChatGPT.

OpenAI says revenue sharing will be based on the use of certain GPTS. But, it is still unknown what rate will be paid and so on.

OpenAI's move is also indirectly expected to enliven the development of GPTs on their platform.
