Penang Bridge Toll Plaza Activates Toll Payment Test Through Debit And Credit Cards

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) confirms that the public pilot test of the open payment system is being implemented at the Penang Bridge Toll Plaza. With this, users who go through the Penang Toll Plaza now transact using debit cards and bank credit cards – as an alternative to Touch n Go and RFID.

As always, it can be accessed in the aisles where signs are posted with the MyDebit, Visa and Mastercard logos. Then two special terminals are provided for Touch n Go and MyDebit-Visa-Mastercard which allow users to touch their debit and credit cards on the device for toll transactions. The payment will be deducted from the respective card balance.
