Ramadan will arrive soon and there will be a drastic change in working hours for a month. PLUS has issued an expectation that traffic will be at its peak between 5-6pm every working day throughout Ramadan.
This is based on data and traffic movement patterns in the last month of Ramadan. In order to help facilitate the movement of people to return home after breaking their fast, PLUS will take several steps below to ensure smoother travel during the peak of Ramadan.
All entrance and exit lanes at the toll plaza are fully operational.
Provide toll payment reader mobile assistance and support assistance at toll plazas.
All maintenance work carried out at the toll plaza is finished before 4:30 pm to avoid any disruption to traffic.
Increase the number of frontline staff at the toll plaza.
Assign a technical assistance team at the toll plaza on standby.
In addition, PLUS will also ensure all public facilities in the rest and treatment area
(R&R) is fully operational to accommodate the high demand during the time
the peak for breaking the fast throughout the month of Ramadan.
