Artificial intelligence technology is expected to become even more advanced this year and in the coming years, so it is no surprise that there are companies that want to combine this technology together with robots that are already seen at a mature stage of development.
For this, NVIDIA, among the companies responsible for introducing hardware and software technology that advances artificial intelligence technology, introduces Project GROOT, which is a technology platform that combines hardware and software to develop robots powered by generative AI.
The idea behind this technology platform is to eventually build a robot that mimics human actions and can make decisions and perform activities based on language, videos and also examples of human movements and actions.
Rev Lebaredian, Deputy President of Omniverse and Simulation Technology at NVIDIA said that these robots can be used in heavy industries and can replace humans to increase productivity and reduce human injuries and accidents at work.
Also introduced is the computer behind the Project GROOT platform artificial intelligence software called Jetson Thor, while the software is called Isaac. The development of Project GROOT, when it is ready will allow companies to build any type of robot for all types of industries and environments.
