Qualcomm is preparing to present a new flagship processing chip on March 18. This announcement was made through one of the updates on weibo but the official name is still kept secret so far.
Many have linked the launch to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chips. Both processors have also been seen as the talk of the town lately, and various details that might complement them have also been revealed.
Through it, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is rumored to have one Cortex-X4 core with a clock speed of 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores with a clock speed of 2.61GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores with a clock speed of 1.84GHz in the CPU. It is also said to come with an Adreno 735 GPU.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 could feature one Cortex-X4 core with a clock speed of 2.9GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores with a clock speed of 2.6GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores with a clock speed of 1.9GHz. It is also said to come with an Adreno 732 GPU.
These two processor chips also potentially have the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
