Today's launch sees the realme 12 5G officially introduced in Malaysia. This latest smartphone model from realme is an update to the realme 11 5G launched in August last year but at a more affordable price.
For specifications, realme 12 5G comes with a 6.72" FHD+ resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a peak brightness level that can reach up to 950 nits. This is paired with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, 8GB memory + 8GB Dynamic RAM and storage up to 256GB, there is another variant with a larger memory option with 512GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC charging.
Camera configuration with 108MP sensor for wide angle lens, 2MP for portrait camera along with 3x zoom feature and 8MP selfie camera. The uniqueness of this model is the new Dynamic Button feature built on the left side of the device that allows several features to be accessed quickly. For example, the feature turns on and off silent mode, flight mode, camera and many more.
Other specifications are IP54 splash-proof capability, realme UI 5.0 operating system based on Android 14, 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers.
Realme 12 5G is now available in two color options namely Woodland Green and Twilight Purple and is offered at a price of RM 1099 (8GB + 256GB) and RM 1299 (8GB + 512GB). For initial purchases from March 26 to April 30, buyers will receive a free gift in the form of Techlife Wireless Earbuds and one year of extended warranty worth RM 399.
