Realme 12 5G was officially launched a while ago in India. It is marketed as a mid-range smartphone that also focuses on photography. But one of the most prominent features of the device is of course the Dynamic Button function built into the power button.
It is positioned on the right side of the device and can be modified for various shortcut access. For example, such as access to the camera application, turn on the flashlight, activate flight mode, mute the device and so on. In addition, the fingerprint sensor is also built into the power button.
Next, the device also uses a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM memory and 128GB internal storage are also used as the mainstay. At the same time the device also runs the new Realme UI 5.0 launcher which is built on Android 14.
In addition, a 108MP (Samsung ISOCELL HM6) + 2MP main camera is provided on the back panel of the device. Followed by an 8MP selfie camera placed in a small hole on the front panel. The 5000mAh battery is also provided with 45W fast charging and can be charged via USB-C port.
The device also has a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers which are other interesting added values. The selling price in India starts from INR 16999 (~RM970) (6/128GB) and INR 17999 (~RM1,027) (8/128GB). The device is also ready to pass SIRIM which means the launch in Malaysia is also getting closer.
