The two new devices Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G will be officially offered in Malaysia starting 22 March 2024. Through a media statement issued by Samsung today, both devices will be available through any of their authorized stores and distributors throughout Malaysia . No information about the price has been shared as of the writing of the article but we will share it after it is revealed later.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G uses a 6.6″ Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, the display supports Vision Booster technology that can adjust the brightness to the surrounding conditions. In addition, an octa-core chip is also used with 12GB of RAM memory and 256GB of storage as the mainstay. Followed by a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged via a USB-C port and 25W charging. Also provided is a 50MP (primary) main camera with OIS + 12MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (macro) and a 32MP selfie to complement this device.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is also equipped with a 6.6″ Super AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology. Followed by an eight-core chip that combines 8GB of RAM memory and 256GB of internal storage for the mainstay. Meanwhile, the battery is 5,000mAh which supports 25W charging. A 50MP + 8MP + 5MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera are also seen to complement this device.
Both run the new launcher One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. At the same time given better security updates through Samsung Knox Vault support that can protect data from various cyber attacks, in addition to access to the Security & Privacy Dashboard that allows control to be made on the device including access rights to an application.
