Samsung Introduces Galaxy A55 5G And Galaxy A35 5G – Equipped With Knox Vault, OIS Camera, 4 Android OS Updates




Samsung today officially introduced two new smartphone models under the Galaxy A series, namely the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G. Both come with a good build, and also integrate a number of interesting features – including support for updates for four generations of Android and five years of security updates.



For this year as well, both models now come with Samsung Knox Vault support – which protects data from various cyber-attacks, in addition to better night-time photo recording capabilities on the Galaxy A55.


Galaxy A series users will also have access to the Security & Privacy Dashboard – which allows users to control various things on the device, including authorized access to certain applications.



The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. On the camera side, it comes with a 50-megapixel main rear camera, which is also accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it includes a 32MP selfie sensor. Powering this device is a 5000mAh battery.



The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G also comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, memory up to 8GB RAM, and storage up to 256GB. On the camera side, it comes with a 50-megapixel main camera combined with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro. For selfie recording, it comes with a 13MP camera. This phone also comes with a 5000mAh battery.


Complementing these two smartphones is the Android 14 operating system, with the OneUI 6.1 interface. Both the devices also come with cameras with OIS support for better picture recording.


For now, the sale date and local sale price have not yet been shared. Perhaps we will hear about it in the near future.
