ShopBack Eliminates 24% of Workforce

ShopBack, one of the services that focuses on giving rewards and also cash back, has now announced that it will reduce 24% of their workforce, involving 195 employees.

The removal of these workers is said to be in an effort to make the company more sustainable than before, while allowing the company to continue operating.

ShopBack previously said that in early 2022 they had taken on a large number of employees – but with the market focusing on the long term, they are now looking back at cost savings, and taking this step.

With this change, ShopBack is expected to refocus their core business on staying operational, and looking at generating company revenue.
