Singapore, through investment firm Temasek is now reportedly in the discussion phase to invest in leading artificial intelligence company, OpenAI. For now, the value of the investment and so on is still unknown.

Temasek is an investment firm owned by the Singaporean government, and is willing to invest in several popular technology companies, including Roblox, Alibaba, Tencent, and so on.

It is said that Temasek was initially interested in investing in an investment company owned by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI. But, more recent discussions have also included investment in OpenAI.

Currently, OpenAI has several investors, including Microsoft, Sequoia Capital, and even Khosla Ventures. With Singapore itself focusing on becoming an artificial intelligence hub, investment in OpenAI must play an important role in this development.
