Microsoft surprisingly launched two new families in their Surface laptop series this morning. Surface Pro 10 for Business and Surface Laptop 6 for Business are produced specifically for business use and are equipped with Intel Core Ultra chips to provide better AI capabilities.
Surface Pro 10 for Business is offered with a 13″ LCD touch screen matched with a chip up to Intel Core Ultra 7 165U, memory up to 64GB RAM LPPDDR5x and storage up to 1TB SSD Gen 4. The battery can last up to 19 hours on a single charge.
There's a 10.5 MP webcam with a 114-degree viewing angle as well as 2x USB-C Thunderbolt 4 connections and one Surface Connect. Microsoft also offers a built-in NFC reader to facilitate those using physical security keys and also plans to offer a version with 5G support.
Meanwhile, the Surface Laptop 6 for Business is offered in two sizes, namely 15" LCD and 13.5" LCD with a choice of chips up to Intel Core Ultra 7 165H, memory up to 64GB LPDDR5X and storage up to 1TB SSD Gen 4. Battery life is up to 19 hours on the 15 version ″ and 18.5 hours on the 13.5″ version.
The web camera now supports 1080P resolution but is not equipped with a wide-angle lens like the Surface Pro 10.
