It's been a while since I've seen a smartphone team up with an audio product manufacturer. Lately most use Dolby Atmos or Dirac only. Coming soon, the new Infinix phone will have speakers from HARMAN.
This phone is the Infinix NOTE 40 series and audio specialist HARMAN has loaded Sound by JBL audio technology for these devices. The speakers on this new Infinix device have been designed and tuned by JBL for immersive, symmetrical and consistent 360-degree audio. Speaker components and audio algorithms are also provided by JBL to ensure that this mid-range device has the best audio quality on the market.
At the moment it is still not certain whether all NOTE 40, NOTE 40 Pro, NOTE 40 Pro 5G or NOTE 40 Pro Plus 5G will receive the same speaker technology or only premium models. All these devices will be launched in Malaysia on March 18. The Infinix NOTE 40 series will also be powered by the Cheetah X1 chip for All-Round Fast Charge 2.0 and MagCharge fast charging systems.
