Two years ago, Samsung launched the Gaming Hub for their smart televisions. It is a gaming hub for video game streaming services such as Amazon Luna, Nvidia GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming. This year Samsung started introducing the Designed For Samsung Gaming Hub game accessory standard to ensure that game support on their TVs is more attractive for users.
Most recently, Gaming Hub will go to Galaxy phones as well. The existing Gaming Hub on Samsung phones is more of a launcher that collects pre-installed apps, can monitor other players' charts, and user activity. The built-in Instant Play feature currently only supports simple games, but according to 9to5Google, Samsung will soon add similar support to TVs, bringing video game streaming services to Instant Play.
For now it is still uncertain when it will be offered to users and which Galaxy phones will be supported. Samsung also said that the initial stage will only support a small number of games. If it is supported in Malaysia it may be limited to GeForce Now only because other services like Xbox Cloud Gaming are limited to country id like America.
