In parallel with the introduction of the Sales and Service Tax charge of 8% effective today, 1 March 2024, now Telekom Malaysia announces the update of the SST tax charge for some services under them.
According to TM, the service charge of 8% is subject to several services under them, including separate Unifi TV subscriptions, cloud services, digital marketing solution services, and also security services.
This new service charge will be shown on the monthly bill, starting from March or April according to a user's bill.
TM also emphasized that the tax charge for Unifi Broadband, Unifi Mobile and other telecommunication services will remain at 6% as before.
