There was a time when the live streaming feature on Twitter was possible through Periscope but it was shut down in March 2021. With streaming now popular again, X today brings back video streaming support through Space.
At this time, the video streaming feature through Space can only be used by users of the iOS version of the X application. Press the Space icon in the application and there will be an "Enable video" option to stream the video. After the Spaces title is written, just press instead of Next to start streaming.
As with audio streaming before, users are also given the option to record a video streaming session which can then be re-shared for re-watching. In our tests the streaming was quite smooth without any issues but there were reports from other users saying their streaming was stuttering.
