Vivo V30 and V30 Pro were officially launched in Malaysia a while ago. The device focuses on better photographic performance through ZEISS camera support on the pro version. In addition, the Aura Light function has also been upgraded with a larger size and is able to adjust the brightness according to the subject for better image reproduction.
For specifications, the Vivo V30 Pro 5G uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen (2800 x 1260 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate. Next, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, 12GB RAM LPDDR5X memory and 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage are used for the mainstay. Also followed is the new FunTouchOS 14 launcher based on Android 14 and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging as a complement.
Apart from that the device also supports a ZEISS camera with a 50MP tri-sensor setup. It consists of 50MP (OIS) for the main with an aperture of f/1.88. Matched with 50MP (Portrait) and 50MP for ultra-wide. Also included is a 50MP selfie camera and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Vivo V30 5G is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is combined with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 12GB of RAM memory and up to 512GB of internal storage for the mainstay. The included 5,000mAh battery can also be charged via a USB-C port and 80W fast charging. Then the camera setup consists of dual 50MP main and ultra-wide sensors, in addition to a 50MP selfie camera.
For those interested, the V30 is sold at prices starting at RM1,999 (12/256GB) and RM2,199 (12/512GB). Meanwhile, the V30 Pro is priced at RM2,599 (12/512GB).
