It's getting more and more interesting to use Threads. Meta's social media platform trying to be X has already added hot topics features, there's a Windows app, favorite posts can be saved, and more. One clear Threads stance is that they don't want to be where users get the latest news and politics.
Recently, Meta has updated the Instagram application in the Content preferences section (main choice of content) with the Politcal content feature (Political content). When pressed users can choose whether to limit political content from unfollowed users or continue to receive political content.
Since Threads was launched, many of the political issues discussed on this platform come from the United States. Related matters in Malaysia as far as I've observed, many users are more active on X. Anyway, if you want your Threads and Instagram timeline to be political-free, do this setting to make it easier for yourself in the future.
