YouTube Music Tests "Trim Silence" Feature To Cut Moments Of Silence In Podcasts

Everyone is aware that next month, the Google Podcast service will be terminated. Google will make YouTube Music a place to stream podcast content to compete with Spotify. Most recently, Google was seen testing the Trim Silence feature on the YouTube Music application.

This feature is to skip or cut silent moments in podcasts. For example, if there are two people discussing a topic and they stop for a while either for a break or something else - the user does not need to listen and can continue to enjoy the discussion of the topic more smoothly.

YouTube Music is not the right app for podcasts. So Google is slowly adding various features and functions to ensure that Google Podcast users who will switch to other platforms become more comfortable and remain loyal. What is your opinion?
