YouTube has now announced they are experimenting with a new feature called "Premium Jump Ahead". Through it, it will take into account a user's viewing pattern, and further through the integration of artificial intelligence, it will take users to the part they will like to watch on a video.
This feature is targeted at YouTube Premium users, and is being offered on a limited basis to some users in the United States first for now. This feature will be activated when the user double-taps to skip to the front, where after taking into account the viewing pattern and some other data, it will display a "Jump Ahead" button, which will then lead to the part that a viewer will be interested in.
This will make it easier for the user than having to double-tap repeatedly to speed up a video.
