Apple Reportedly Cuts Vision Pro Production Due to Low Demand

Yesterday we reported that demand for the Apple Vision Pro has been declining for nearly three months since it went on sale in the United States. This morning analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple has begun to reduce the production of this spatial computing headset due to declining sales.

According to him Apple is now targeting the production of around 400,00 to 450,000 Vision Pro this year which is lower compared to their original target which is between 700,000 to 800,000 units. Although sales were initially very encouraging, the momentum did not last as the initial units were only purchased by Apple's most die-hard fans. In Malaysia, for example, Vision Pro is sold at a price of up to RM25,000 which is much more expensive than the original selling price of around RM16,000.

The event is expected to announce Vision Pro sales to more markets in a special event next May 7. Some of the new Vision Pro features will likely be shown along with the announcement of some new iPad models. How about you? Still excited to buy Vision Pro if it is marketed in Malaysia?
