Because of Audiobooks, Spotify May Raise Subscription Prices More This Year

In October last year, Spotify recorded a total of over 574 million active users. In the same month, the audio book was also launched. Later this year, music video support and learning videos were introduced. Due to more and more content being offered, Bloomberg reports that Spotify this year may further increase their subscription prices.

This increase is said to reach from $1 to $2 which is around RM4.74-RM9.48. For now, it is only affected in the UK, Australia and Pakistan. Two other countries including the United States will change on another date soon. To users in Malaysia, you can breathe a sigh of relief because the subscription price has not been increased in Malaysia. But maybe after these additional features arrive here, it will be Malaysia's turn where Spotify prices increase.
