Just last week we saw an electric scooter successfully overtake the RXZ in a video clip that went viral, now BMW Motorrad Malaysia's website has started to put the BMW CE 02 electric scooter in their offer, perhaps indicating that this scooter will come to the local market soon.
The BMW CE 02 electric car has 2 batteries with a capacity of 1.96kW which provides a range of 95km WMTC and can be charged from 20% to 80% in 168 minutes. The 11kW engine provides a maximum power of 15hp and can accelerate from 0-50km/h in 3 seconds. There is also a version with a slower motor and reduced battery capacity but it is not certain whether it will be available for the local market.
In addition, it also offers 2 driving functions called 'Flow' for normal riding patterns and 'Surf' for aggressive riding patterns and comes with a regenerative braking system. In addition, it is equipped with a countdown function, a 3.5-inch display, a special stand to place a smartphone to make it a secondary display.
For now, BMW Motorrad Malaysia has not announced any price but if calculated from the United States market, this BMW CE 02 Electric Motorcycle is offered at a price of USD 7,599 which is around RM 36,000. If the BMW CE 02 is officially offered, it will make two electric motorcycle models offered by BMW Motorrad Malaysia. Let's wait for the official announcement from them.
