Since last year, Brave has started integrating generative artificial intelligence into their web browser – it's Leo Assistant. Leo can be accessed with a subscription of RM69.90 per month and recently they introduced a generative AI feature in Brave Search which is Answer with AI.
According to Brave, Answer with AI is more powerful than the AI Summarizer feature that was introduced last year. The new feature is a fully privacy-focused AI search feature that can handle nearly 10 billion queries. Each answer is provided quickly with sources and search results are from independent search indexes outside of search indexes such as Google or Bing.
Answer with AI is free to use by all Brave users on desktop and mobile device applications. If not using the Brave web browser, this feature can be accessed in any other web browser via the search.brave.com website. Brave uses the Mixtral 8x7B and Mistral 7B language models as the main ones while there are several other additional models that are customized to make this Answer with AI feature a success.
