More than two months after going on sale, public demand for the Apple Pro is plummeting according to Mark Gurman's latest report in his latest Power On newsletter. This is because the demand for demos to try Vision Pro at the Apple Store is decreasing in line with sales. So far around 160,000 Vision Pro units have been sold with Apple saying initial demand was higher than their original expectations.
Gurman said that among the reasons why the demand for Vision Pro has decreased is because of the extremely expensive selling price, the lack of interesting applications and the difficulty to use. At launch apps for Netflix and YouTube were not offered and had to be accessed through a web browser.
With sales in the United States already down. now is the best time for Apple to start marketing to other countries. Among the rumors heard before is that Vision Pro will enter the European and Chinese markets after this.
