The portable battery pack I used on a picnic with relatives last year. Because we now live in need of a smartphone all the time, a small powerbank is no longer sufficient. With a portable battery pack not only phones but various other electrical equipment can be used. DJI, which is known as a manufacturer of drones, cameras and microphones, is now entering the battery pack arena through the DJI Power series.
Two DJI Power models were launched, the DJI Power 1000 and the DJI Power 500. The DJI Power 1000 has a capacity of 1024Wh while the DJI Power 500 has a capacity of 512Wh. Because it is manufactured by DJI, DJI Power is specifically designed to charge drone and camera equipment while performing tasks in the field.
Through fast charging technology, the DJI Power 1000 can charge the Mavic 3 battery in just 30 minutes. More interesting is that to charge this battery pack again the time taken is only 70 minutes. At the moment the DJI Power 1000 is sold at a price of $699 (~RM3342) but the price of the DJI Power 500 has not been announced yet.
