Elon Musk shared about it after Reuters reported that Tesla canceled the development of their affordable car due to competition with other manufacturers - and it may be repositioned under the robo-taxi service under Tesla.
Previously, Elon Musk had stated that they will develop self-driving capabilities for Tesla vehicles, allowing Tesla owners to activate the feature and generate income by turning their vehicles into robo-taxi.
