Google Play Store Payment Verification Will Soon Remove Password Support

On the Android device I use, the Google Play Store settings for payments I use are always asking for a password. Most recently, Google is seen to be removing password support to encourage users to verify payments with a biometric system.

For Android users, the supported biometric system is fingerprint scan and face scan is limited to some Android devices only. Users are still given the option to choose whether the verification request occurs always, every 30 minutes or not. It is very likely that this change to the Play Store is part of Google's strategy for a password-free life and relies only on the concept of no password or Passkey.
