xAI is a company focused on artificial intelligence owned by Elon Musk. For now, xAI is ready to offer their own chatbot called Grok, and has already been offered to X Premium customers.
Through it, until now it only offers text-based input and feedback capabilities. However, through future Grok model updates, it will offer support for processing visual information.
With this step, users can share an image or something visual - regardless of chart, sketch and so on, and then ask Grok to process it, either explain it, or also select it to write a related story, or write code related to something visual.
For now, this Grok-1.5V offering is limited to a number of early testers only, and it is not yet known when it will be opened to the public.
