GWM ORA 07 Electric Car Announced – 2 Variations, Range Up to 640km, Price Starting at RM 169,800




After GWM Malaysia introduced the Ora Good Cat last year, they started 2024 by bringing their latest model, the ORA 07, which is placed in the coupe class and offered in two variations, the Long Range Ultra version at a price of RM 169,800 and a Performance version at a price of RM 189,000.



In general, both variants have the same battery capacity of 83.499 kWh, supporting 88kW fast charging enabling 30-80% DC charging as fast as 32 minutes. AC 0-100% charging will take 15 hours and both models support the V2L 3.3kW function.



The Long Range Ultra model is a model with an electric motor at the front of the vehicle that provides a travel distance of 640km NEDC. This electric motor can provide power of 204PS and 340Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds. It also has a maximum speed of 170 km/h.



Unlike the Performance model, the presence of electric motors in the front and rear provide rotational power to all tires but have a travel distance of 550km NEDC. With two electric motors, the power generated can reach as high as 408PS and 680 torque and can accelerate from 0-100km/h as fast as 4.3 seconds. It also has a maximum speed of 180km/h. Even for this version, there are 6 driving modes compared to 5 on the Long Range Ultra version.



Apart from that, other features include doors without window frames, an electric spoiler that will appear at certain speeds, a panoramic glass roof, 11 Infinity speakers, and a premium interior design.


Both models come with a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty and an 8-year or up to 180,000 km warranty for the battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit. In fact, GWM also offers direct replacement if the battery's blackness falls below 70%.
