This year it seems that many television manufacturers will race to offer televisions with Mini-LED screens. Sony has announced the new Bravia series, Samsung with their Neo QLED and the latest is Hisense who want to focus on their ULED X offering.
ULED X is Hisense's own Mini-LED panel. ULED panels have already been offered before, only this new version has been paired with the new Hi_View Engine X processing chip. ULED focuses on the four main U's which are Ultra Local Dimming, Ultra Wide Color Gamut, Ultra 4K Resolution, and Ultra Smooth Rate. The new televisions shown in Bangkok this week are the Hisense U6N, U7N, U8N, 75UX, 98UX and 110UX.
The U6N, U7N and U8N are the most affordable Mini-LED screen smart televisions on the market by Hisense. It has options from 55-inches to 85-inches, supports Dolby Vision display, screen brightness reaches 3000 nits, refresh rate 144Hz and is also powered with AI for the best viewing experience.
All these televisions have already been sold in foreign markets such as the United States. But in Bangkok it was the launch for the ASEAN level. Not only that, the sales version in the ASEAN market will focus more on the use of the new VIDAA OS operating system. It is said to use the same webOS system as LG for better security and long-term durability.
Likewise with their premium televisions such as 75UX, 98UX and 110UX. It is the world's first television with a brightness of 5000 nits and one of the models can have up to 40,000 dimming zones. The chip used is Hi_View Engine X which will be the brain of the television to process quality images, 144Hz refresh rate, accurate colors up to 95% as well as a security system for user protection.
More interestingly, Hisense Malaysia representatives have confirmed that some of these new televisions have already been approved in Malaysia with plans to be sold in the second half of 2024. Let's all look forward to more information on which specific models will be sold in Malaysia.
