In addition to the iQOO Z9x 5G, the iQOO Z9 5G was also officially launched in Malaysia today with higher specifications. It is equipped with a 6.78″ AMOLED FHD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 8GB RAM memory, 256GB storage and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
The main camera on the back comes with a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth-sensing lens. On the front, a 16MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. There's an under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an IR emitter, and NFC support. Its waterproof capability is IP64. The operating system used is OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
In Malaysia, the iQOO Z9 5G is sold at a promotional price of RM1049 (8/256GB) with a free gift of iQOO TWS 1e wireless earphones, an additional 1-year warranty and a 365-day screen breakage warranty worth RM357. After the promotional period on May 8, the device will be sold at a price of RM1332 each.
