The new MagicOS 8.0 launcher was announced last January. It is built based on Android 14 which also comes with MagicLM's built-in artificial intelligence (AI) model on the system that provides some new and better features.
Sharing a new development about it Honor is quietly rumored to start offering the launcher on more devices. Citing a sharing on the Reddit site, several global users reported starting to receive the MagicOS 8.0 update on their Magic5 Pro devices.
It simultaneously allows users to enjoy a variety of new features that are divided into several different categories. It includes a smoother usage experience, followed by the Magic Capsule and Magic Portal features which are very useful for daily use.
MagicOS 8.0 also focuses on better privacy protection through the Parallel Space feature that can protect system-wide applications, photos and videos.
