The artificial intelligence chatbot Meta AI was announced in September last year with Meta confirming that it will be provided on all their products. Meta AI is now officially accessible in WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger in India and some African countries.
With Meta AI, users can perform queries on various topics they might want to write about. Answers will be provided without the user having to exit the application. It also has the ability to generate images that can then be shared in the messaging service used. Testing is still being done on a small scale at this point before expanding to all global users.
Another interesting thing about Meta AI is that the avatars used are made up of 28 famous celebrities such as YouTuber MrBeast and singer Snoop Dogg. The avatar will be an assistant to the user when needed.
Meta has never shared whether Meta AI will be free forever or will follow Samsung and Google's move of charging a monthly fee to access more capable AI features in the future.
