MYNIC, the agency that manages the .MY domain name in Malaysia is now aiming to reach around 400,000 users of the .MY domain name in 2024. Today, there are around 313,000 .MY domain name users.
Of these figures, around 150,000 users are users of the .com.my domain name which is more targeted at businesses. In an effort to further increase its use, MYNIC is expected to come up with a number of specific programs – including collaborating with a number of agencies targeting entrepreneurs and small business owners.
At the same time, MYNIC also announced that it will be present with a special program on May 1, 2024, to continue to encourage the use of this domain name.
