Opera Becomes First Web Browser To Integrate LLM Built In

Opera previously already offered the integration of artificial intelligence service support, called Aria. Now, apart from that, Opera is also the first web browser to integrate the language model or LLM built into their web browser.

Opera states that this experimental test includes support for up to 150 LLMs, including popular ones such as Llama (Meta), Mistral, Gemma, Vicuna and so on.

With this built-in integration, it simultaneously allows some operations to be carried out directly on the user's device without sending information to an external server. This offering will also allow developers to come up with a number of new AI usage experiences directly on the Opera web browser.

Opera is currently introducing this integration on the developer channel for Opera One. For those of you who are interested, you can try it yourself today, in the development channel.
