A special island to hold eSports events will be built in Abu Dhabi. This project is developed by True Gamer and it consists of TG Arena as a place where various eSports events will be held together with Digital Tower which will be the office of various video game development companies and sports organizations.
Finally, GG Resort will also be built on this man-made island with 200 rooms. At GG Resort a training center will also be held for those who have aspirations to become future eSports athletes. Visitors will be able to jump from GG Tower like they do in the PUBG video game.
In total, the eSports island project will cost $280 million (~RM 1.34 billion). The chosen location is Al Raha Creek in Al Seef. When the project will be started and completed has not been announced at this time.
