Spotify introduces a new generative artificial intelligence (AI) feature that makes the process of generating music playlists even easier. This feature named AI Playlist is still in Beta stage and can only be used by Premium customers. Generative AI will generate a playlist based on the proms entered by the user.
You can request a music list of rock songs to wake up in the morning more energetic for example. After the prom is entered, the list will be generated within seconds. It will then be saved directly to a personal account so that it can be accessed again when needed.
As we said earlier, AI Playlist is still in the testing stage and is therefore only available to customers in the United Kingdom and Australia at this point. It can also only be used in Android and iOS apps. It is a continuation of Spotify's previously announced Spotify DJ which uses AI instead of human DJs.
When it launches globally, it's up to you to generate your own playlist. We can't wait to produce a playlist of "Hari Raya songs when stuck on the highway".
