Telegram Messenger is now sharing that they are targeting the messaging platform to reach 1 billion active users in 2024. Currently, the messaging service has around 900 million monthly active users.
Telegram also emphasizes that they are the only platform that is neutral and does not get involved in geopolitics – unlike other social platforms.
Telegram Messenger has started looking at a number of monetization measures recently, including displaying advertising on Telegram Channels – and sharing revenue with the channel owner.
In addition, it was also reported that Telegram is looking to do a public listing of the company soon.
