Telegram is now announcing revenue sharing with the owners of Telegram Channels, where the owners of Telegram Channels with more than 1000 followers, now have the potential to generate revenue sharing of 50% from the advertisements displayed on the Telegram Channels.
Telegram powers their advertising platform using the TON cryptocurrency – claiming it is safer and faster, as well as having low transaction costs.
In addition, for advertising, Telegram states that it is only displayed on Telegram Channels, and is not displayed on private chat boxes or other columns. Telegram advertising also does not use personal data, but relies on Telegram Channels only.
With this latest partnership as well, if you are the owner of Telegram Channels, you can go to the settings page of the channel, and then select Statistics, and select "Monetization".
