The Tesla Model 3 Performance was launched before Tesla's latest financial report was announced. It is based on the new Model 3 but enhanced with dual-motors offering more than 500 horsepower. This allows the Model 3 Performance to accelerate from 0-100 kmh in just 3.1 seconds.
In addition to a more powerful electric motor, this model comes with a more aggressive body kit in the front and rear. The brake system is improved with larger calipers allowing the vehicle to stop better. To further differentiate it from the regular model, the seat is now a basket type for the driver and front passenger.
Because it is a performance-oriented vehicle, the Model 3 Performance only has an estimated travel distance of 528 km WLTP which is better than the 513 km WLTP that the most basic Model 3 can do but lower than the 629 km WLTP for the Model 3 Long Range.
Sales have opened in Malaysia at prices starting at RM242,00 and rising to RM285,000 for models with FSD and the most premium color options. If the order is placed the day the vehicle can be received as early as Q2 2024
