Third Place – Honor X7b
Honor X7b is in the third place because it is an entry-level device that is still relatively complete in terms of specifications. The device is equipped with a 6.8″ IPS LCD screen, powered by a Snapdragon 680 chip, memory up to 8GB RAM and storage up to 256GB. A few years ago specifications like this could only be dreamed of by those looking for a device sold under RM1000.
The strength of the X7b lies in the 6000 mAh battery that lasts long enough and supports relatively fast 35W charging. Paired with a 108MP camera, stereo speakers and a built-in audio jack, it deserves to be placed third in this category.

Second Place – Realme C67
What I realized last year is that the RM1000 portable device is now getting better and better to use and not just a doorknob capital. I put the Realme C67 in second place because it is also quite complete for a device categorized as affordable.
It is equipped with a 6.72″ IPC LCD 90Hz screen that also has a Mini Capsule feature. Music can be controlled through the Mini Capsule and there is also a feature to see the charging level of the device. The Snapdragon 685 chip used is better than the Snapdragon 680 used in the X7b above. It is also equipped with a 108MP camera, a 5000 mAh battery, and stereo speakers. The strength of this device is its IP54 splash-proof capability and Android 14 which was previously impossible to find on a device in this category.

Champion – Tecno Spark 20 Pro
Yes the Tecno device is the champion in this category for Hari Raya 2024 because it is equipped with the Helio G99 chip which in our opinion is the best in the affordable class. Powerful enough to run most applications and can be used for games such as COD Mobile, PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9.
Memory is up to 12GB which is very rarely offered with 256GB storage. The camera is also 108MP and it is matched to a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W charging, stereo speakers and IP53 splash-proof capabilities. All can be purchased for as low as RM699 only. Because of this, Tecno Spark 20 Pro is the best Raya device under RM1000.
