Yesterday the Huawei Pura70 series was launched as a surprise with again the processor specifications not listed by Huawei. A day after the launch, information about the chip finally appeared through a HuaweiCentral report confirming the use of the new Kirin 9010 chip.
The Kirin 9010 is an improvement over the Kirin 9000s used in the Mate 60 series last year. Only Pura70 Ultra, Pura70 Pro+ and Pura70 Pro models use this chip. Pura70 uses Kirin 9000s. The Kirin 9010 maintains a 12-core CPU configuration with 4 high-power CPU cores, 6 mid-power CPU cores and 2 energy-saving CPU cores matched to the Maleoon 910 GPU. Both the Kirin 9000s and 9010 use the same GPU.
Geekbench 6 benchmark score is 1442 score for single core and 4471 for multi core. It shows a slight improvement over the 9000s. Therefore it is most likely still produced using 7nm technology. The score recorded is lower compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (1991/5221) but better than the Dimensity 9200+ (1284/3520).
It is not yet known whether the Pur70 series will be marketed outside the global level at this time because last year's Mate60 was only for the Chinese market
