The Samsung Galaxy S25 Will Probably Still Use a Snapdragon Chip

A few years ago there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S25 would only use their own Exynos chip. This Exynos chip will be produced specifically for Galaxy devices to meet the needs of the company. But the good name of Exynos is a bit tarnished now and in Malaysia in general, many prefer devices with Snapdragon chips.

According to a DigiTimes report, next year's Samsung Galaxy S25 will still be offered with a Snapdragon chip. It is very likely that the dual-chip strategy carried out this year will continue. So it is not surprising if the Galaxy S25 Ultra will use a Snapdragon chip while the S25 and S25+ will use an Exynos chip in markets other than the United States.

Various other rumors say that the next flagship Exynos chip will be equipped with the Tensor NPU developed by Google and used in Pixel devices. Google and Samsung have a very close relationship with the Tensor G3 chip for the Pixel 8 series being manufactured by Samsung.

Google's AI feature integration can also be seen prominently on the S24 series. Until now the Circle to Search feature for example could only be used on Pixel and Samsung devices.

Are consumers in Malaysia ready to give Exynos chips a second chance? From our experience using the Galaxy S24 series this year, the Exynos 2400 is a chip that is almost on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance.
