Third-Party YouTube Apps That Block Ads Can No Longer Stream Videos

There are several third-party apps for YouTube that Android users can download. Among its advantages is the built-in ad blocking feature. Now Google issued a statement that third-party apps with ad blockers can no longer stream videos.

If you try to stream a video, the notification "the following content is not available on this application" will be displayed on the screen and the video will also be frequently interrupted with buffering issues. YouTube says blocking ads will prevent content creators from generating revenue. For users who do not want to watch ads, they are advised to subscribe to YouTube Premium legally.

Previously, Google had banned applications such as YouTube Vanced due to its built-in ad blocker feature. Although the application is no longer developed, it can still be used side-mounted by Android users.
